For the third year in Washington, D.C., Iranians gather to honor the memory of Mahsa Amini and all the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of Iran.

در این برنامه به بررسی افکار جان لاک و تاثیر مستقیم تئوری‌هایش در پیدایش سیستم حکومتی پادشاهی مشروطه در انگلستان می‌پردازیم. نظریات جان لاک درباره آزادی، مالکیت، و قرارداد اجتماعی نه تنها پایه‌های فکری جهان مدرن را شکل داده‌اند، بلکه می‌توانند ابزارهای فکری برای تحلیل مسائل سیاسی، اقتصادی و اجتماعی ایران فراهم کنند.این نظریات می‌توانند به فهم بهتر ریشه‌های فکری جنبش‌های دموکراتیک و چالش‌های آن‌ها کمک کنند. نه برای الگو برداری، بلکه برای الهام و یاد گرفتن شیوه تفکر. مطالعه نظریات جان لاک به درک بهتر ریشه‌های مدرنیته در حقوق فردی، نقش حکومت و راه‌های دستیابی به جامعه‌ای عادلانه کمک می‌کند.
